Psalms 24:1, 5 (KJV)

1The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

5He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

There are times in our lives that cause us to wonder if we belong. Situations and circumstances can push us to the edge of our faith, tethering on the brink of throwing in the towel. The thing or things that we are dealing with can cause us to be weary and we may even wonder if we belong.
I encourage you today to know without a doubt that the Lord loves you and that you belong to Him. The psalmist reminds us that everything, including you and me belongs to the Lord. “ the earth is the Lord’s, it is His creation. With climate change, earthquakes, floods, and the likes, it all still belongs to the Lord. We too have experienced our own climate change. One day we are joyful and the next we are disappointed. We have our own earthquakes, when the things we experience shake us up. Sometimes our circumstances come rushing is like a flood, and with all these things we wonder if I belong? We are reminded that not only does the earth belong to the Lord but you and me, we are the “they that dwell therein.” We do belong.
No matter what you are facing and no matter what it looks like, He hasn’t given up on you and you are not alone. You do belong because you are His workmanship, created in His likeness, and preserved by His love. You have His promise to receive His blessings and the assurance of His salvation.

God bless you.
